Baby goats, teaching, Venerating the Root - Part Two coming soon!

Hops

I have been very busy with baby goats, teaching pretty much full-time in the School of Classical Chinese Medicine (National College of Natural Medicine, Portland OR), helping to revise the curriculum for the classical texts aspect of the new entry-level doctorate there (starting Fall 2015!), doing some international lecturing (Israel in March, Germany in May), and last but not least work on Venerating the Roots, Part Two. For more regular updates, please sign up to my newsletter through this website. But here we are:

  • Currently available through our store are three physical books ("Venerating the Root: Part One," "Let the Radiant Yang Shine Forth," and "Twelve Characters: A Transmission of Wang Fengyi's Teachings." Also for sale is the e-book version of "Radiant Yang.
  • We have found a new printer who is 100% reliable (as opposed to the EBM machine in Portland, which does break down on rare occasions), produces slightly more durable book covers, and allows us to ship directly from the printing facility to you for much lower shipping prices than I was able to get as an individual. Especially for international orders, this has made a big difference.
  • The big news: We are only 1-2 days away from printing the first display copy for "Venerating the Root: Part Two"!!! This will be a monster book of about 600 pages so has taken a lot longer than anticipated.
  • After some much-needed recovery time, we are hoping to produce a translation of the Shennong Bencao Jing (Divine Farmer's Classic of Materia Medica) over the summer and fall in three successive little volumes.
