Tea Time Talk

Chewing the Cud with Michael Max

Here is another chance for us to ask questions of the one person in Chinese medicine who has dedicated his professional life in Chinese medicine to asking questions: my dear friend Michael Max, host of the Qiological podcast. Bring your questions, challenges, observations, and let’s see what happens.

I personally am always interested to get Michael’s take on the pulse of the profession and on our most significant developments as a field, both negative and positive. Given the wide variety of people he interviews for his podcast on an at least weekly basis, I cannot think of a single other person with a similar exposure to different voices, from students and beginning practitioners to leading teachers; from administrators and hospital integrators to people doing woowoo stuff that is way out there, from people in the trenches to the retired armchair dinosaurs. I feel like he welcomes them all with curiosity and empathy, and an exemplary attitude of no judgment, which is a rare skill these days.

This will be great fun, and I hope you will join us for the live event. Usually, Tea Time Talks are free only Imperial Tutor members, as part of the membership benefits. With this particular event, Michael and I decided to open the doors to everybody. I hope that perhaps this offering will entice you to check out my Imperial Tutor mentorship and consider supporting my work with a monthly contribution, knowing that this income facilitates everything else I do, including podcasts, research, blog posts on my website, creative writing on substack, etc. Being a member also gives you the option to ask me technical questions that may result in a quick emailed answer or a whole dedicated podcast episode or Tea Time Talk that you get to actively participate in, if you feel so inclined.
